Tricholabus Thomson, 1894

Tricholabus is a Holarctic, Indo-Malaysian, and Neotropical genus with at least seven Nearctic species, one of which is undescribed (shown below). It was thought to belong to or be closely related to the Amblyteles genus-group due to the amblypygous female and the medial process on the male hypopygium, though it has been shown to be more closely related to the Callojoppa genus-group (Santos et al. 2021).

The biology of Tricholabus is unknown.
